FIRKIN has received two Fonogram Awards, one of Hungary’s most prestigious national music industry awards.

FIRKIN’s international visibility was further strengthened in 2026 when the band’s song Hold My Beer was featured in the MGM+ American television series The Westies, alongside music by internationally acclaimed artists including The Cranberries, Iggy Pop, Fontaines D.C., Sinéad O’Connor and The Rumjacks.

FIRKIN reached the final of Hungary’s national television music competition A DAL 2026, performing the original song Csak annyit mondanék and its symphonic version with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.

An English-language version of the song, All I’d Want To Say, is also scheduled for international release in 2026.

FIRKIN children’s musical Rumini Tükör-szigeten has been successfully staged by three Hungarian theatres, where it has become part of their repertoires.

FIRKIN created the children’s musical based on the popular literary universe of acclaimed Hungarian author Judit Berg.

The bestselling Rumini series has reached audiences internationally, with the complete 10-book series available in English and Chinese, alongside editions and publications in German, Italian, Serbian, Russian, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Czech and Romanian.

FIRKIN’s award-winning Rumini musical has also been adapted into Polish, opening the project to a new international audience. An English-language version of the musical is currently in production and is scheduled for completion in 2026–2027.

The Hungarian album received the 2025 Fonogram Award for Children’s Music, one of Hungary’s most prestigious national music industry awards.

FIRKIN is not only the band on stage.

It is also the audience — the people who return to the shows, sing along, travel with the band and become part of the FIRKIN FAMILY.

Over the years, this has developed into an international community connected by music, friendship and shared experiences.
